HOW IT ALL STARTED. . .
out of my love for simply designed tees & sweats, we have built a nest of intentional super soft cozy clothing that everyone loves to wear day in & day out.
chickadee co. wellness apparel is meant to evoke a woman's desire to always be well & to encourage consistency of your mindset throughout your journey. to flutter among different passions, intentions & responsibilities. we highlight mindful whole food eating & we nourish our community on repeat!
be sure to read our journal blog post, where i 'dig a little deeper' into my personal wellness journey but ultimately, our goals are to inspire, encourage & nourish others with our words.
i've also been so blessed to share this business journey with my teenage daughter sarah ~ also known as my DEO {daughter executive officer}. she pretty much guides me on social media & is always my 'final call' decision maker on designs that i waiver on back & forth. she's grown up alongside our farmers market & pop-up events, inspired & venturing on a wellness path of her own. sarah is currently studying food science & nutrition at university & is researching nutrient density in various foods alongside her professors & doctors on the team, driving the mission for good whole FOODS as MEDICINE.
to catch us in person, we love setting POP-UPS at our local farmers markets & other wellness related events & businesses ~ where the GOOD FOOD & nourishment of our community comes together, supporting each other locally.
we truly appreciate your ongoing support as we take flight with this endeavor, going on 7 years now. we hope that you will join us & share our WELL & COZY community with others.

"i wanted my kids to grow up making wise choices on their own, for GOOD FOOD. in a country where most everything available & promoted is processed & packaged JUNK FOOD, this is really hard to instill. seeing our nourishing words repeatedly, will hopefully foster a foundation of habits that will eventually carry on for generations.
turns out these intentions are often more impactful for our own self care & wellbeing too."

carrie takes immense pride in her creative passions & she currently designs, prints & markets every single tidbit of your favorite tee or sweatshirt!
building chickadee co. has been a circular self collaboration of her life's experiences. having a solid foundation of two business marketing degrees & plenty of sales management jobs, carrie persisted with owning her own business so she could be super flexible until both kids go off to college.
most importantly, chickadee co. would serve the community for personal wellbeing as a lifestyle.
